The secret of choco-mint candy is that it is so easy to make. Don’t tell anyone, though. So festive and pretty, these goodies look and taste as if they’re from a fancy chocolatier. Try the recipe today!
Merry choco-mint candy
Ingredients:
½ pound chocolate almond bark
½ pound white almond bark
2/3 cup (approx.) hard peppermint candies, crushed
Directions:
Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
Microwave chocolate almond bark according to package directions.
Spread a layer of melted chocolate almond bark onto waxed paper.
Chill until hardened.
Microwave white almond bark according to package directions.
Mix most of the finely ground candies into the melted white almond bark. Reserve some of the crushed candy for topping later.
Spread the melted white almond bark layer onto the chilled chocolate layer.
Top with the reserved crushed candies.
Chill until hardened.
Cut or break into pieces.
Optional: For holiday shapes, perform all the layering inside of a cookie cutter. After the final chilling, gently release the candies from the cookie cutters.
