Sweet potato fries—yummy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sweet potato fries are all the rage and for good reason. They are delicious and healthy, too. Make some today!


Sweet potato fries

Ingredients:

3 sweet potatoes, peeled and rinsed
olive oil
salt
pepper
optional spices: cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, ginger, nutmeg

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Make sure the sweet potatoes are dried after rinsing them.
Cut the potatoes into traditional French fries shapes. (Thinner cuts give you crispier fries).
Place fries on a jelly roll baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil—enough so they are glossy, but not floating in oil.
Toss to get the potatoes coated with the oil.
Add salt, pepper and any other spices you like.

Bake for about 10 minutes.

Turn potatoes over.
Bake for another 10 or 15 more minutes.
