BLT dip is ready to boogie

Are you partying tonight? If you need a last-minute dish to offer, this recipe for BLT dip is for you. The lunch counter sandwich favorite has now transformed into a yummy party dip…just in time for your New Year’s Eve gathering. BLT DipIngredients:
½ pound bacon
½ cup mayo-type salad dressing
½ cup sour cream
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tomato, diced
Shredded or finely snipped green leafy lettuce
Wheat crackers

Directions:

  1. Thoroughly cook bacon. Allow to cool.
  2. Combine the salad dressing, sour cream and pepper.
  3. Crumble the bacon and add it to the mixture.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes.
  5. Sprinkle snipped lettuce on top for color.
  6. Surround the dip with sturdy wheat crackers.
  7. Serve.
